Bergen Embrace Seis Dias Welcome to the sixth edition of Bergen Embrace, in a city famous for its natural beauty and welcoming tango community! Take some extra days in the area to explore the fiords, mountains and waterfalls, and to get to know the natives. Don't miss the Monday special event/afterparty: La fiordlonga. Save the dates! Registration will start in February 2024. We strive for an inclusive environment where all participants treat each other with respect and generosity. Dual role dancers, leaders and followers of all genders, ages, sizes and ethnicities are warmly welcome! This is a role balanced event for close embrace lovers, where we use mirada/cabeceo and clear the floor and change partner during cortinas. It’s neither a marathon nor an encuentro, but a unique wonder that picks the best from both traditions. We will dance in Grand Hotel Terminus’ excellent large wooden floor hall, with a cemetery just outside, right in the centre of Bergen. Participants may choose to sleep and eat (and die) at this hotel, for a discounted price. Other sleeping options will be posted in the participants' group.
