The hotel "El Cid Campeador" is in a quiet location and has its own section of beach. A special feature of the trip is that we will visit local milongas in the Rimini area (traditionally also once in Bologna or Ravenna) and thus come into contact with the local tangueros. The Italian dancers are very open and friendly. The trip takes place at a very favorable time, the off-season. The prices are cheap and the place is not overcrowded. Prices: Per person: overnight stay in a double room including half board and lessons as above: 570 €. Single supplement: €105 In addition, there are the entrance fees for the milongas and eventl. Transfer costs (max. €15 per day/person) Arrival: Arrival must be organized by yourself. 07.09 Saturday: Arrival and welcome drink with information and room allocation. In the evening there is already the first visit to a milonga. 08.09 - 13.09. Tango lessons, beach activities, bike ride along the coast, visits to typical Italian markets, city tour of Rimini, wine tasting and visit to a vineyard and castle (on request €15 pp). At the end of the journey we experience a Romagna conclusion in Bologna or Ravenna with a visit to a milonga. 14.09 Saturday: Departure. Visits to Milongas in the Adriatic: Every evening we will visit a local Milonga. It can be milongas in Bologna, Cesena, Cesenatico, Rimini to Ancona. In Italy people dance everywhere....in antique halls with wooden floors, in gardens on ceramics, on the beach in the sand or on the streets....there should be a bit of everything. At this time of year, many milongas take place outdoors.
